About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Formwork Carpenter to join our growing team for an immediate start. This role suits a motivated tradesperson who takes pride in their work, understands commercial and residential formwork, and values working as part of a respectful, reliable team.
You will be working across a range of projects, delivering high-quality outcomes while maintaining safety, efficiency, and professionalism on site.
Key Responsibilities
* Set out, construct, install and dismantle formwork systems
* Read and interpret basic plans
* Work with concrete, reinforcement and formwork materials
* Ensure all work is completed to a high standard and on schedule
* Maintain a clean, safe and organised worksite
* Work collaboratively with supervisors, labourers and other trades
* Follow all OHS requirements and site safety procedures
Job Requirements
Essential:
* Proven experience as a Formwork Carpenter
* Strong understanding of formwork systems and methods
* Own tools relevant to the role
* White Card (Construction Induction)
* Reliable transport
* Strong work ethic and positive attitude
Mandatory Compliance (Victoria):
Drivers Licence
Desirable (but not essential):
* Working With Children Check - Employee (Full Clearance)
* Volunteer WWCC will NOT be accepted
* Must be a paid employee WWCC issued in Victoria, Australia
* Commercial formwork experience
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
* Leadership potential or willingness to mentor apprentices
