The Office of the Commissioner is currently recruiting for the following two positions:
1. Level 5 - Ministerial Liaison Officer (Permanent Full-Time)
2. Level 4 - Executive Assistant (Fixed Term Full-Time) for a period of up to 6 months with the possibility of extension/s and/or permanency.
Applicants found suitable will be placed in a 12-month suitability list which may be used to fill other similar fixed-term and permanent full-time and part-time vacancies.

About the Roles
Level 5 - Ministerial Liaison Officer
The Ministerial Liaison Officer is responsible for the coordination, review, and transmission of ministerial, cabinet, and parliamentary business, and maintenance of related recording and reporting activities. The position provides support to the Manager Ministerial Services to ensure timely, accurate, and quality advice is supplied to the Minister for Emergency Services and his office.
The successful applicant must have experience in the delivery of ministerial, parliamentary, cabinet and business services within a diverse organisation.
Level 4 - Executive Assistant
The Executive Assistant is responsible for providing high-level executive, administration, and research services and support to the Fire and Emergency Services Commissioner, and the Director of the Office of the Commissioner.
