About the business and the role
Visuna Australia (previously known as Oil Consultants) are recruiting field-based workers with HC or MC Truck Licences at all levels and trades for the Energy Sector (Oil and Gas and Renewables) throughout Australia. Entry level and experienced workers are urgently needed.
Forklift Drivers, Rig Mechanics, Rig Electricians and Truck Drivers with MC & HC licenses are urgently required on projects immediately. Equipment Operators and Supervisors in Coil Tubing, Well Testing, Wireline/Slickline, Frac, Well Cementing and experienced Drilling Fluids are in very high demand.
Rig Personnel - particularly Rig Managers, Derrickman, Motorman, Floorhands and Leasehands with Certificates II, III, IV or Diploma in Drilling/Well Control are required for ongoing work. Forklift/Front End Loader and Crane operators are needed with 4WD Licenses.
Job tasks and responsibilities
Successful applicants should be physically fit and willing to work in remote locations. Rotation is usually 2x2 weeks or 3x3. Some jobs start immediately, and daily operations may include:
* Assembling and preparing equipment for installation and service
* Assisting or supervising on rigs
* Maintenance, repair, and preparation of equipment
* Performing pre/post job equipment inspections
* Following strict HSE requirements for all aspects of the job
Skills and experience
Applicants should have the following:
* Experience working with Oil and Gas equipment (desirable)
* National Police Clearance
* Fit for work - Medical (valid for onshore work)
* ISI Industry Safety Induction (desirable)
* Wellsite Permit to Work (preferred)
* Operate 4WD vehicles in the field (preferred)
* First Aid (preferred)
* Gas Test Atmospheres (Preferred)
* HC/MC Truck License (preferred)
* High Risk Work License (Forklift, Front End Loader etc.) (desirable)
* Offshore certs / OGUK / CAEBS if applying for Offshore roles
* Willingness and availability to work in remote locations
* Indigenous applicants fully supported in recruitment process
* Based anywhere in Australia or New Zealand
