Overview
Permanent, full-time position based in Sydney. You'll lead the delivery of projects and product change initiatives within the Portfolio & Change team within WIB & Group Treasury Operations, ensuring effective change management and strong outcomes for Westpac Group, Westpac Institutional Banking, and the broader Treasury function. This role focuses on technology and process change; you'll assess how changes affect operational teams, define scope and requirements, identify risks and compliance considerations, and ensure commercial objectives are met. You'll coordinate delivery by working closely with stakeholders and subject matter experts across the business.
Responsibilities
Lead the delivery of selected projects and product change initiatives that impact Portfolio & Change within WIB & Group Treasury Operations
Ensure effective change management and strong outcomes for Westpac Group, Westpac Institutional Banking, and the broader Treasury function
Assess how changes affect operational teams; define scope and requirements
Identify risks and compliance considerations; ensure commercial objectives are met
Coordinate delivery by working closely with stakeholders and subject matter experts across the business
What you'll need
You know how to run a project from start to finish and get people on board along the way.
You've worked with tech and process change, ideally in banking or finance.
You're great at spotting risks before they become problems.
You can talk to anyone and actually get them to listen.
You're organised, curious, and not afraid to challenge the status quo.
