Reporting to the Despatch Supervisor or Despatch Coordinator, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient and safe movement of our fresh produce.Key ResponsibilitiesGeneralOperate forklifts and machinery in a safe, efficient and competent mannerComplete forklift pre-start checklist, logbook and key register before operationLoad and unload trucks, containers and other transport vehicles with forkliftMaintain strict product temperature control and accurately maintain documentationSupport your Manager to build a cohesive team that reflects Mulgowie Farming Company's valuesReport any maintenance requirements in your area to the appropriate personComply with all policies and procedures regarding despatch operations to ensure compliance with Chain of Responsibility LawsEnsure compliance process and procedures are followed for the despatch of organic product or product for exportEnsure work area and equipment is safe and safe work practices are followed at all timesReceive and store stock according to requirements, ensuring all receivals are accounted for and in good orderPeopleWork as part of the Packhouse Despatch TeamCarry out Quality and Safety checks as required in line with policies, procedures and processesProvide encouragement and a positive influence for all peersComply with all legislative, environmental, and safety acts as applicable to the state we work inUnderstand the operations being carried out and the hazards and risks associated with operationsQualifications and Experience Required:QualificationsCurrent Australian Forklift Licence (essential)ExperienceExperience in cooling and temperature managementSound computer knowledge (SAP knowledge or similar)Skills and AbilitiesAbility to maintain flexible work hours, seven (7) days per work whilst complying with fatigue requirementsExcellent communications skills (verbal and written)Ability to communicate appropriately across culturesPrecise record keeping with accurate numeracyAbility to set a good work ethic for team membersConduct and present yourself in an orderly and responsible mannerOur ValuesWe value the safety of our people and productsThe consumer is considered in all of our decision makingWe respect all people and are united through team spiritWe value clear communication, and welcome all ideas for improvementYou must have your own transport andAustralian working rights to apply.There is no accommodation available at this facility.
