Apprenticeship Programs
Our Apprentice Program encourages the growth and development of individuals to become skilled and qualified trades persons through completion of a Cert III Glass and Glazing and experience within our business. Our program has seen our Apprentices become award winners within the industry, and we have many past Apprentices who now work on site as Glaziers or Service Technicians, have become sub-contractors or have developed into leadership roles.
We are seeking a Glazing Apprentice to join our Bunbury team. Our Apprentice Program will see the apprentice work across various departments throughout their apprenticeship and this will include training in Perth.
Successful completion of TAFE studies is also required for an apprentice to attain their qualification, and this is conducted at BalgaNorth Metropolitan TAFE in weekly blocks - approximately 8 weeks per year. Accommodation is provided for TAFE training blocks.
Requirements
* Physically fit - products can be heavy and/or awkward to lift and carry
* Enjoy hands on work
* Current Police clearance (within last 6 months)
* Pass fitness for work and drug and alcohol test
* Have a C class drivers licence
* Travel to Perth as required with overnight or weekly stays
* Safety Conscious - role involves manual handling and use of tools
* Mechanically minded - want to know how things work
* Strong work ethic with a desire for continual learning
* Able to work well within a team environment
* Able to read and interpret paperwork
