About This Opportunity
An exciting opportunity is available for a highly organised and proactive Administration Officer to join Professor Felicity Meakins on the Australian Research Council Laureate project 'Amplifying Indigenous Ecological Knowledge in Western Science with Language'.
You will play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth and effective operation of the project. You will deliver a broad range of administrative support services that enable the research team to achieve its objectives and maintain strong partnerships with collaborators and community stakeholders.

Key responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
* Provide high-level administrative and office coordination support to the team.
* Manage financial administration, including reimbursements, expenses, and purchases in accordance with University policies.
* Coordinate travel arrangements, including bookings, travel requests, and reconciliations.
* Support project activities, initiatives, and general operational requirements.
* Organise and administer events, workshops, seminars and conferences, including logistics, marketing and RSVP management.

About You
Candidates require effective administration, coordination and interpersonal communication skills, effective organisational and time management skills and be committed to providing a high level of customer service. Additionally, you will demonstrate:
* A degree or diploma with subsequent relevant experience or secretarial administrative experience or an equivalent combination of relevant experience and/or education training.
* Demonstrated skills in providing a high level of customer service, including effective interpersonal skills.
* Demonstrated high level of proficiency in the Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook).
* Effective organisational, time management and problem solving skills.
* Experience working as a team member in a busy environment.
* Working knowledge of University administrative systems, policies and procedures or the capacity to rapidly acquire this knowledge.
