**The position**
This position is a prized role within the organisation as a Key Account Manager for a handful of major customers worth around $20m in spend. You'll be focussed managing these relationships, keeping retention, high quality service, care and response for customer needs.
Your role will be managing these accounts and maintaining the relationships, some duties include:
- Key customer and relationship management
- Maintaining a portfolio worth around $20m in total spend
- A diverse range of customers mainly domestic/national transport
- Focussed on pallets, cartons, satchels & some local point to point
- Assisting key accounts with support, needs and requirements
- Annual rate negotiations and discussions with customers
- Representing a full suite of freight & logistics offerings
- Looking for opportunities to increase spend where you can
- Showcasing cutting edge IT software platforms offering the best freight technology
- Monthly pipeline development and forecasting
- Up-selling & cross selling all transport solutions
- A flexible work/life balance with full autonomy available to WFH once established

**The experience necessary**
To be suitable for this role, it is imperative that you are coming from the freight, logistics and transport space (interstate, domestic or local).
Your experience will be from a sales & relationship management background where you are responsible for managing customer accounts, client retention and high quality service.
- Relationship management experience
- Experience from transport, freight & logistics
- Strong B2B and commercial solutions experience
- Ideally experience within domestic transport interstate, local, courier
- Decent commercial and business acumen
- Genuine self drive, determination & motivation to succeed
- Experience dealing with a variety of decision makers and markets
- Transport experience could come from interstate freight, palletised, cartons, courier, point to point, contract logistics, freight forwarding or any related space
