Description Location: Australia Wide - all WSP office locations The Digital Delivery (BIM) Coordinator plays a pivotal role within the project team, working under the supervision of the Digital Delivery (BIM) Lead. This role requires a combination of technical expertise, project management skills, and a deep understanding of BIM methodologies. The Digital Delivery (BIM) Lead acts as a bridge between various stakeholders, ensuring effective communication, coordination, and collaboration throughout the project lifecycle. They are responsible for the day-to-day management and coordination of BIM-related activities, ensuring the successful implementation of the BIM Execution Plan (BEP). This role requires strong coordination, organizational and technical skills to facilitate effective communication, collaboration and efficient delivery of BIM-related tasks and deliverables. You will be part of our accomplished Property & Buildings section and will work alongside our established team of Engineering technical experts, assisting in bidding and delivering successful projects. Your role will also be well supported across our business, with skilled resources in other sections. Key responsibilities Liaison with the Project Digital Delivery (BIM) Lead to ensure effective implementation of BIM processes. Liaison with all discipline BIM Managers, modelling leads, and model manager(s) Agreement of consultant BIM scope uses and work-sharing protocols via negotiation of and contribution to the BIM Execution Plan Communication and documentation of project-specific BIM workflows as required. Alignment of standards and workflows across the design delivery teams. Communication of BIM Execution plan expectations QC implementation including model audits as required. Coordination planning, communication, and implementation Running Clash Detection processes and Coordination Workshops Management of clash detection, reporting, and resolution processes Ensure Quality management processes are regularly undertaken. Oversee the Information Management Process are followed throughout the Project lifecycle. Setup CDE to relevant project requirements and workflows Ensure Correct Permissions and Information access is granted. Experience, skills and organisational knowledge 7-10 years of relevant Digital BIM experience with a focus on Defence projects within Australia. Background in Building Services would be preferred. Eligibility to obtain Australian Defence security clearance is essential – only eligible to Australian Citizens (Permanent Resident, NZ Citizens & Visa holders are not eligible). Highly competent in managing risk on projects including contractual and commercial risks. Established processes for identifying, managing and monitoring risks to project outcomes in particular safety management and design. Collaborative approach and ability to lead & build teams and rapport amongst clients, colleagues and other industry leaders. Knowledge and understanding of all engineering disciplines. Experience in resourcing and managing a wide range of professional disciplines and subcontractors in a project.
