Safety and Compliance Professional
This role involves supporting the coordination and implementation of safety, health, environment, and training initiatives at a site level. Key responsibilities include coordinating site-level activities, identifying opportunities for improvement, providing day-to-day support and guidance on safety practices, and helping to deliver PYBAR's SHET capabilities on site.
* Support the coordination and implementation of Safety, Health, Environment and Training activities at site level
* Assist in identifying opportunities to improve site health and safety performance and contribute to continuous improvement planning
* Provide day to day support, guidance, and oversight on SHET practices to ensure compliance with legislative requirements
* Help deliver PYBAR's SHET capabilities on site, maintaining strong communication with the client and workforce
* Promote positive safety behaviours and help build a culture of accountability, ownership and safety first thinking across the site.
The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2 years' experience in a similar position, relevant tertiary qualifications, and a comprehensive understanding of WHS/OH&S regulations and legislation across Australian jurisdictions. Strong stakeholder engagement and leadership capabilities are also essential.

The successful candidate will be responsible for:
* Coordinating site-level activities to ensure effective implementation of safety, health, environment, and training initiatives

* Providing day-to-day support and guidance on safety practices to ensure compliance with legislative requirements
* Maintaining strong communication with clients and workforce to promote positive safety behaviors and build a culture of accountability and ownership
* Using digital tools to record and monitor safety data, identify trends, and support proactive safety decisions
Requirements:
To be considered for this role, the successful candidate must possess the following skills and qualifications:
* Minimum 2 years' experience in a similar position
* Relevant tertiary qualifications in safety, health, or environmental management
* Comprehensive understanding of WHS/OH&S regulations and legislation across Australian jurisdictions
* Strong stakeholder engagement and leadership capabilities
