Davidson is partnering with a leading banking client within their Treasury/Finance function, supporting a high-profile remediation program with broad executive visibility and cross-divisional impact.
About the Role
This is an initial 6-month contract opportunity for a Senior Project Manager with additional Business Analysis capability, focused on Funds Transfer Pricing (FTP) remediation. The role sits in Treasury/Finance and will work closely with Markets, Technology, and other key stakeholders to drive delivery, strengthen controls, and support current-to-future state outcomes.
Key responsibilities include:
Owning end-to-end project governance: scope, plan, RAID, dependencies, milestones, and delivery cadence
Tracking and clearly communicating project health, progress, risks, and upcoming milestones to senior stakeholders
Preparing SteerCo packs (status reporting, key decisions, risks/issues, dependencies, and actions)
Running SteerCo action tracking and follow-ups to maintain momentum and accountability
Producing high-quality documentation across process, controls, and remediation artefacts
Supporting BA-style activities: understanding current state, facilitating workshops, defining requirements, and shaping future state
Partnering across Treasury/Markets/Tech to remove blockers and drive outcomes through influence and strong stakeholder management
About You
To be successful, they will ideally bring:
Strong Project Management discipline with proven governance and executive reporting experience (SteerCo-level)
Confidence operating in a complex banking environment with multiple stakeholder groups and competing priorities
The seniority to unblock delivery issues, navigate ambiguity, and push work through when barriers arise
Excellent documentation capability, with a strong focus on process, controls, and audit-ready outputs
The ability to interpret current-state operating models/processes and help design future state
FTP (Funds Transfer Pricing) and/or Treasury function exposure
Knowledge of internal cost/benefit hedging concepts and Treasury performance drivers
Familiarity with Interest Rate Risk in the Banking Book (IRRBB) concepts
Exposure to APRA standards such as APS 117 is an advantage
