Electrical Engineer
Teck Global Pty Ltd requires a skilled and qualified Electrical Engineer. The role is a full-time position (38 hours per week) based out of Perth, Western Australia and remunerated between $110,000 to $140,000 commensurate with skill and work experience.Position Responsibilities:
* Establishing the initial project schedule and regular maintenance of project schedules. This activity includes the recommendation of appropriate staffing for each design activity and determination of time to completion for each task on the project schedule.
* Participating in various stages of studies, design, construction, testing and commissioning execution for projects in accordance with the project schedule and budget.
* Carrying the responsibility for the project success and proving strong direction for the team.
* Collaborate effectively to ensure team goals are achieved by providing input into decision making and problem solving.
* Coordinating of design, test and building activities between the design team and key cross-functional teams.
* Ensuring the Scopes of Work documents, technical specifications and data sheets.
* Participate of testing/commissioning documentation, configure protection relay setting files, test plans and create detailed technical reports with suitable recommendations on completion of works.
* Reviewing and approve HV submission report including power system modelling (DIgSILENT), protection settings, earthing study and arc flash assessment.
* Overseeing and reviewing work performed by electrical engineers, including timely provision and mentoring of necessary information.
* Involving in site visits, construction and commissioning as required during the life cycle of the project.
* Instrumenting and controlling engineering matters within the organisation and provide technical leadership of the Electrical Engineering team, in delivering a high-level technical design, audit & advisory service related to all aspects of project standards and infrastructure.
* Ensuring compliance with safety, environment and quality management systems
Skills• Bachelor's degree in engineering or similar.• As a start / minimum 2 years Work Experience post qualifications as Electrical Engineer.
