A specialist contractor delivering high-quality refurbishment and fit-out projects within the aged-care sector is seeking an experienced Site Supervisor to support a growing pipeline of live-environment upgrades across South East Queensland.
Your new role
You will oversee all day-to-day site operations, ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time, within budget and to the highest quality. Working in sensitive aged-care environments, you'll coordinated trades, subcontractors and suppliers, maintain a clean and organised site, and minimise disruption to residents and staff.
Your ability to lead by example, communicate clearly and resolve issues efficiently will be key to project success.
* Manage daily site activities and coordinate trades, subcontractors and suppliers
* Lead works in live operational aged-care environments with minimal disruption
* Work with the Project Manager to maintain program timelines and organise resources ahead of schedule
* Maintain high workmanship standards and ensure compliance with NCC & Australian Standards
* Monitor WHS, manage risks and uphold a strong safety culture
* Keep the site clean, organised and professional at all times
* Condut early-stage scope and program reviews and provide site input
* Maintain accurate documentation, update records and support weekly progress reporting
What you will need to succeed
* Clear, respectful communicator with a collaborative approach
* Highly organised, proactive and forward-thinking in scheduling and site planning
* Strong problem-solver with practical decision-making skills
* Positive, team-orientated leader who fosters a productive site culture
* 5 years' experience in construction (residential/commercial)
* 1-2 years' experience as Site Supervisor / Foreman
* Strong understanding of live-environment site management
* Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement
* White Card + relevant trade qualification (Carpentry desirable)
