**The role**:
Reporting to the National Retail Manager, the State Retail Manager will drive our Western Australian company stores to achieve our five-year growth strategy. This role is critical to setting the benchmarks for performance in sales growth and the in-store customer experience and delivering on our brand promise.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Assess store leadership approach and provide one on one leadership coaching for success.
- Coach and train Store Sales Managers on managing budgets, targets, and overall strategy for each store.
- Monitor costs in the stores, sales results, and forecasts.
- Engage with the Store Sales Managers to support the sales growth and revenue targets for each store.
- You will lead the team across your Company stores to ensure they are adhering to policies and procedures.
- Influence your leaders toward successful outcomes for their stores
- Assist leaders with recruitment and sourcing staff that are critical to the success of their teams.
- Diagnose store performance challenges and identify growth or corrective actions.
- Support the Store Business Plan process to identify future growth initiatives.

To be successful in this position you will have the following:
- Experience leading a team and demonstrated success in Retail management
- Business development experience
- Proven abilities and experience in achieving and exceeding sales targets
- Performance management skills and experience
- Previous experience in the Tile industry (preferred)
- Excellent communication and people skills
- Ability to work autonomously
- Natural leadership abilities
- Have high-level organisational skills and the ability to manage several projects simultaneously
- Be proactive, enthusiastic, and able to work in a collaborative team environment
