The Modern Slavery Risk Analyst supports the delivery of the CBA's supply chain Modern Slavery Risk Program and broader human rights due diligence commitments.
The role contributes to the identification, assessment and mitigation of modern slavery risks within the supply chain by supporting due diligence processes, analysing supplier performance, maintaining risk mapping, facilitating stakeholder engagement, and supporting capability-building initiatives.
This position plays a key role in embedding ethical sourcing practices and enhancing transparency and accountability across the organisation's supply chains.
On any given day you will:
* Support modern slavery supplier assessments and due diligence, including reviews and monitoring activities in alignment with internal risk frameworks.
* Coordinate the collection and analysis of supplier documentation, risk assessments, and follow-up actions.
* Assess suppliers' risk management frameworks and controls relating to modern slavery and broader human rights issues.
* Identify gaps against good practice standards and support suppliers to develop and implement corrective action or improvement plans.
* Prepare agendas, materials, and follow-up actions for engagement forums and working groups, including data, analysis and commentary for internal governance updates, management reports, and Board or Committee briefings.
* Maintain and enhance the organisation's supply chain risk mapping, using relevant data sources, tools and analytics.
* Analyse supplier data to identify risk hotspots, trends, and emerging issues across sectors and geographies.
* Support the development of dashboards and reports to visualise and communicate risk insights.
* Maintain up-to-date educational resources, guidance materials, and process documentation.
* Assist in the design and delivery of modern slavery risk management initiatives, capability programs, and continuous improvement projects.
Your experience looks like:
* Strong ethical compass and commitment to advancing responsible business practices.
* Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills, both written and verbal.
* High attention to detail and ability to synthesise information for reporting and decision-making.
* Experience in risk, compliance, sustainability, ESG or project management.
* Some analytical and data management skills, including familiarity with Excel or data visualisation tools (e.g. Power BI, Tableau).
* Understanding of the Modern Slavery Act 2018 (Cth) and related human rights frameworks and due diligence principles will be highly regarded.
