Overview
Varsity Group Australia is seeking Head Chefs, Sous Chefs and Chef de Parties to join our kitchen team across Perth venues. You will be responsible for the preparation and delivery of high-quality food in a high-volume restaurant and pub environment, ensure solid kitchen operations, maintain cleanliness and kitchen hygiene, and deliver guest experiences to Varsity's standards while adhering to Australian legal requirements.
Responsibilities
Ensuring all meals are cooked Varsity's Way.
Following our national recipes and plating guides.
Ensuring meals are served quickly and are of the highest quality every time.
Maintaining food safety and hygiene; keeping the kitchen sparkling clean and well organised.
Adhering to all food preparation and cleanliness guidelines.
Allocating staff to sections and secondary duties, and managing general kitchen operations with the Sous Chef and Head Chef.
Contributing to the Back of House Management team to improve current menu items and develop specials and LTOs (limited time offers).
Managing stock ordering, delivery receipts and temperature log reporting.
Requirements
Diploma qualification in a relevant field and/or 2-3 years of relevant work experience.
Working rights required for this role.
