We are seeking a Head of Nutrition and Technical Services to join our Leadership Team
Reports to: Chief Executive Officer

As our Head of Nutrition and Technical Services, you'll play a key role in our mission to help animals thrive.
You'll design industry-leading, cost-effective livestock feed formulations, driving both performance and profitability.
This is a high-impact position that influences design and ensures sustainability.
Key Responsibilities:
Design the best rations for different livestock species, with a focus on ruminant, but also oversee monogastric nutrition, balancing performance and cost.
Lead projects and work alongside Commodities, Operations and Sales teams to create sustainable, high-quality products that exceed customer expectations.
Use IT systems, software and applications to create and utilize data and performance metrics to refine processes, boost efficiency, and continuously improve formulations.
Lead the charge in developing innovative feed solutions and quality that set us apart from competitors and meets the evolving needs of the livestock industry.
What skills and qualities you will have to be considered:
Qualifications: Bachelor's in animal nutrition, agricultural science, or related field.
Advanced animal nutrition qualifications at Ph D or Masters level highly desirable.
Experience: At least 5 years in technical feed formulation, ideally in the stockfeed industry.
Skills: Analytical, collaborative, and solution-focused mindset with a deep understanding of livestock nutrition and formulation software (Brill, Bestmix, Concept 5, Format etc.).
Commitment to environmentally responsible ingredients and practices.
Proven Project Management (Lean, Six sigma, EOS or agile) or any exposure to PM.
IT Adaptability and proficient IT skills.
Ability to collaborate and work across multiple departments and with key industry stakeholders.
Ability to travel to regional sites and locations.
Advanced animal nutrition and advanced technical skills in this area.
Highly organized with Leadership experience as the role will have direct reports.
Excellent communicator and team player.
Quality Assurance experience.
