We are looking for a Senior Analyst to support the generation and use of high‐quality evidence to improve health equity for Aboriginal people and other priority populations in NSW.

About the role
The Senior Analyst will undertake epidemiological and statistical analyses, provide expert advice on data quality and integrity, and deliver technical support for monitoring and evaluation of priority Aboriginal health and equity initiatives.
What you'll be doing
* Undertake epidemiological and statistical analyses and ensure timely provision of complex information for priority projects.
* Provide project management and technical support for strategic evidence and evaluation initiatives, and support the development and reporting of Aboriginal health indicators.
* Work collaboratively with policy, community, service providers and stakeholders to design, conduct and support monitoring, evaluation and research.
* Prepare and disseminate results through briefings, publications, reports and presentations.
* Assist processes and mechanisms to support Aboriginal governance and shared decision‐making for CEE's work with Aboriginal population health data.
About you
* Postgraduate qualifications or substantial practical experience in monitoring and evaluation, epidemiology, biostatistics or equivalent professional experience.
* Strong understanding of Aboriginal health issues and health equity for other populations in NSW and Australia, with experience engaging Aboriginal stakeholders in an ethical and culturally safe manner.
* Excellent knowledge of health datasets and experience applying epidemiological and statistical methods to health data, especially in program evaluation.
* Strong analytic, written and verbal communication skills and ability to transform complex data into accessible information.
* Ability to build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders and work collaboratively or independently as required.
* Strong project management and organisational skills to manage competing demands and deliver timely advice and outputs.
