We are seeking a passionate and skilled Speech Therapist to join our team in Melbourne. This is a unique opportunity to work with clients of all ages, assessing, diagnosing, and treating communication and swallowing disorders.
This role involves conducting assessments to evaluate clients' speech, language, and swallowing abilities, developing and implementing individualized treatment plans based on clients' needs and goals, providing therapy sessions to improve clients' communication and swallowing skills, and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to ensure holistic care.
Key Responsibilities:
* Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify clients' strengths and areas for improvement.
* Develop personalized treatment plans that cater to clients' unique needs and goals.
* Provide evidence-based therapy sessions to enhance clients' communication and swallowing skills.
* Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care coordination.
* Maintain accurate records of client progress and update treatment plans as needed.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
* Degree in Speech Pathology from an accredited institution.
* Registration with the relevant Speech Pathology Association.
* Proven experience in assessing and treating communication and swallowing disorders.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Able to work independently and as part of a team.
* Strong organizational and time management skills.
* Desire to make a positive impact on clients' lives.
