Role Description
Use your customer service skills to help us create a warm and welcoming atmosphere in our Aged Care Facility Cafe. You will assist the Cafe Manager with minor food preparation, serving light refreshments, using the coffee machine, maintaining food safety records, making sales, including cash transactions and EFTPOS, for morning tea and lunch. Once service is complete, you will assist with keeping the Cafe presentable by cleaning tables, using the dishwasher, and sweeping and mopping floors.

Regular - more than 6 months
Time Required
4-16 hrs. a week (depending on volunteer availability)
Training
2 hours in-person compulsory training to meet Aged Care Quality Commission Standards. General orientation to the facility and role. Ongoing support.
