About the role
As a Senior Financial Accountant in our Corporate & Shared Services team, you'll take ownership of financial reporting, drive stronger financial controls and be a go-to technical accounting expert for stakeholders across the business.
What you'll be doing
* Support month‐end and year‐end close processes and deliver accurate financial reporting.
* Manage general ledger activities including reconciliations, journals, accruals and fixed‐asset accounting.
* Prepare technical accounting papers, maintain policies and advise on accounting and tax implications.
* Coordinate statutory reporting, audit deliverables and compliance obligations across entities.
* Drive process improvements, strengthen internal controls and support finance transformation initiatives.
* Roll up your sleeves on detailed work while helping to streamline ways of working, especially where data and processes are manual or complex.
About you
* CA or CPA qualified with a bachelor's degree in accounting and 3+ years' experience in a similar role in a medium to large enterprise (CA qualification is mandatory).
* Likely to have started your career in a consulting or professional services environment and now be looking to apply that experience in industry where accounting fundamentals are similar across sectors.
* Comfortable working across all facets of the role, with strong Excel and data skills, happy to clean and structure data, pivot quickly, problem‐solve and stay solution focused.
* A team player who is willing to get hands‐on, can juggle multiple priorities and is keen to mentor and support more junior team members.
* Confident communicating with finance colleagues and non‐finance stakeholders, including business leaders, and able to build effective working relationships across the organisation.
* Experience with Microsoft Dynamics is desirable.
