Are you energetic, customer service focused and love working with people? Then this is the role for you Knox Private Hospital is seeking a Nurse Unit Manager to join our team. You will play a key role within a supportive team to ensure our patients have a great experience during their care.
As a Nurse Unit Manager, you will provide clinical leadership to complement the strategic direction, operational processes and quality management of all patients. You will deliver clinical operational direction for the unit to ensure efficient and effective management by coordinating the delivery of nursing care that is evidence based. You will be accountable and responsible for the effective daily management of human, financial and material resources.
About Knox Private Hospital is one of the largest private hospitals in Victoria, caring for over 1.2 million people across Melbourne's east and outer east. We have a 24/7 Emergency Department, 15 theatres including a hybrid theatre, and capabilities for cardiothoracic surgery, orthopaedics, neurosurgery, urology and more. Responsibilities
* Provide clinical leadership to align with strategic direction, operational processes and quality management for all patients.
* Provide clinical operational direction for the unit to coordinate delivery of evidence‑based nursing care.
* Be accountable for the effective daily management of human, financial and material resources.
Qualifications
* Current Registration with AHPRA
* Working with Children check
* Previous experience at ANUM or NUM level, or equivalent
* Compliance with ACSQHC National standards
* A strong commitment to developing in a management role
* Computer literacy including MS Office and various databases
* Ability to work cohesively within a team environment
* Proven time management and prioritisation skills
* Demonstrate a sound knowledge base in labour management
* Demonstrated HR management experience
