You are
We’re looking for an experienced Responsible AI Engineer to join our growing team. The ideal candidate has a strong background in building state‑of‑the‑art AI models and at least a year’s experience evaluating responsible aspects such as fairness, transparency, explainability, robustness, soundness, and privacy in a client‑facing environment. You are a problem‑solver passionate about data, excited by challenging modeling tasks, and able to communicate effectively with clients and colleagues.
Responsibilities
* Develop and implement AI models and solutions, with a focus on ethical and responsible practices.
* Detect, evaluate, and apply relevant Responsible AI dimensions (bias, fairness, robustness, explainability, etc.) and mitigate identified risks; support client sales conversations and proposal preparation.
* Optimize and maintain existing AI systems for enhanced performance and adherence to ethical standards.
* Participate in the full AI development lifecycle: data preparation, design, coding, testing, deployment, and support.
* Contribute to the development of internal guidelines, best practices, and technical training for responsible AI.
* Stay updated with current AI trends, ethical considerations, and technological advancements.
* Assist in identifying and correcting biases in datasets and AI models.
* Document AI development processes and maintain a transparent record of decisions and methodologies.
Travel may be required for this role, ranging from 0% to 100% based on business needs and client requirements.
Requirements
* Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Data Science, or related technical fields.
* Manager experience: 6–8 years.
* Experience developing and deploying machine learning models and AI solutions; at least 2 of the following: Statistics and Probability Theory, Regression Modelling, Clustering Methods, Deep Learning, Neural Networks, Natural Language Processing, Text Mining, Computer Vision, Image Recognition, Time Series Forecasting, Machine Learning Visualization Tools, Tree Ensembles.
* Proficiency in Python, R, or Java; familiarity with TensorFlow, PyTorch, and big‑data technologies such as Hadoop or Spark.
* Experience with database management and data processing.
* Understanding of cloud services (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) related to AI.
* Strong problem‑solving and analytical skills; ability to collaborate with teams and communicate effectively.
* Commitment to ethical AI development and continuous learning.
* Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast‑paced environment.
* Excellent documentation and presentation skills for technical and non‑technical audiences.
Bonus Points
* Additional courses or training in responsible AI, ethics, or related fields.
* Certifications in AI, machine learning, or data science.
* Experience in ethical AI or AI for social good projects.
* Knowledge of AI ethics, data privacy, and regulatory frameworks.
* Experience with model interpretability and explainability tools, including specialized visualization techniques.
* Project management experience.
* Linguistic proficiency in a language other than English.
