An exciting development opportunity is available for a Service Technician in the Goldfields region (Kalgoorlie). The role is field‐based, supporting a diverse customer base and a wide range of equipment, including diesel and LPG forklifts and battery electric forklifts.
Key Responsibilities
The primary focus of this role is to provide breakdown support, servicing, and planned maintenance across a broad range of material handling equipment. Specific responsibilities include:
* Performing onsite repairs across a wide range of material handling equipment
* Responding to breakdowns within Kalgoorlie, Esperance and surrounding areas
* Undertaking diagnostic and fault‐finding work
* Building and maintaining strong relationships with customers within the territory
* Collaborating with internal technical support teams to deliver effective maintenance outcomes
Qualifications & Experience
* Minimum 2 years' experience as a forklift technician
* Proven ability to work autonomously, particularly in remote or regional locations
* Strong technical knowledge and diagnostic capability
* Experience with large‐tonnage diesel equipment is highly desirable
* Excellent troubleshooting skills and commitment to high‐quality preventative maintenance
* Alignment with HCA's Safety Culture, where safety is the highest priority
* Effective communication and customer service skills; ability to build long‐term relationships
* Confidence in technical ability, decision‐making, and Crown product knowledge
