Due to our continued growth, we are looking to employ a Sprinkler Fitter located in Sydney.
To be considered for this role, you must hold a current sprinkler fitter trade certificate and be registered. This role is both technical and administrative therefore a good understanding of systems, process and paperwork is essential. You will be involved in inspections and testing, breakdowns, reactive works and minor installations.
About the role:
In this role, you will be responsible for:
* Sprinkler systems
* Fire pumps
* All types of suppression systems including gas, foam chemical and deluge.
* Hydrant and hose reel systems
Additional responsibilities include testing and support on:
* Fire panels and detection systems
* OWS and EWIS systems
* Portable fire extinguishers
* Fire doors
Skills and Experience
* Qualified Registered Sprinkler Fitter
* You will have a good working knowledge of Australian Standards AS 2118, BCA and AS 1851 – 2012
* You will have a minimum of 5 years in a similar role
* Understanding of testing and repairs to fire systems
* White card and Work Cover industry card
* MS office experience
