About the opportunity
The University of Sydney Law School is launching a new Law Student Engagement Unit to strengthen connection, inclusion, and support across the student community. Applications are now open for the role of Program Support Officer, Law Student Engagement and Success. This position supports the pilot of student-focused programs that promote belonging, wellbeing, academic achievement, and student partnerships, with a focus on coordinating, communicating, and evaluating events and initiatives to ensure a high-quality student experience.
Your key responsibilities
* provide high-level administrative and coordination support for the Law Student Engagement and Success pilot program
* support the planning and delivery of student-focused events, peer programs, academic support initiatives, and student-led activities
* coordinate communications and logistics to ensure smooth program operations and a high-quality student experience
* assist in evaluating program effectiveness, promoting student belonging, wellbeing, academic success, and partnerships
About you
* demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with students, staff, and partners in a dynamic and inclusive environment
* experience in event coordination or student support, ideally within higher education or a similarly complex setting
* strong organisational and administrative skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and coordinate program logistics effectively
* excellent written and verbal communication skills, including experience supporting promotional content and stakeholder engagement

* Base Salary (HEO5) $89,755 - $100,495 plus 17% superannuation

* Fixed term role funded through Student Driven Resourcing (SDR) under clause 38(e) of the University of Sydney Enterprise Agreement ; may be offered for up to three years in case of sudden enrolment increases
