An opportunity has arisen for an experienced Quality Manager to join the company.
Skills and qualifications:
* As the Quality Manager you ideally have a minimum of 4 years experience as a Quality Manager at a mid to senior level, managing a team of Quality delegates, and with a thorough understanding of GMP, Quality standards and processes.
* Demonstrated experience managing a team of 3-5 quality delegates with proven leadership capabilities.
* Proven experience in cosmetic manufacturing and/or food industry, experience in pharmaceutical cGMP is highly regarded.
* A formal academic background in science/pharmaceutical/food technology is desired and highly regarded.
* Decisive, confident and with an ability to lead quality change throughout the business areas.
* Liase with customers and stakeholders with a quality focus in mind.
* Strong Leadership qualities
* Must hold Australian permanent residency or citizenship to be eligible for this position.
Role responsibilities:
* Create and continuously improve a strong and reliable Quality Assurance department by implementing clearly defined processes, procedures and policies, designed to assure the highest quality for all products manufactured at AMK Formulations.
* As a member of AMK Formulations Leadership Team, advise the team of changes, issues and improvements relating to both quality regulatory.
* To assure compliance with regulatory requirements, customer requirements and to assure requirements for product & raw material specifications are met.
* Management of company's QMS, quality and GMP accreditations, including but not limited to, QMS ISO 9001, ISO GMP 22716, ACO (Australian Certified Organic).
* Management and responsible for carrying out Internal and External audits in accordance with ISO 9001, ISO GMP 22716.
* Management of product specifications, product formulations, QC standards and QC testing of raw materials, bulk products and finished goods including microbiology testing with external laboratory.
* Management of Non-Conformances and quality investigations for non-conforming products and processes including Customer Complaints investigations.
* QC on incoming raw materials/packaging
* Perform regulatory checks with NICNAS/TGA/FDA/EU Regulations
* Other ad hoc duties that may be required
