Now Hiring: AR/AP Specialist I (Invoicing Specialist) - Hybrid

This is a contract assignment from June 16, 2025, to June 16, 2026, with the potential for further extension.

$24 to $27 an hour

Are you a detail-oriented professional with a knack for numbers and a desire to ensure accurate and timely payments? We're seeking an AR/AP Specialist I (Invoicing Specialist) to join our team in a hybrid role, offering the flexibility of working from home two days a week. This is a contract position with the potential for long-term extension.

What You'll Do:

As an Invoicing Specialist, you'll play a crucial role in our financial operations by:

* Auditing and reconciling both construction and non-construction invoices using established processes and standards.
* Approving vendor invoices to ensure compliance with contract provisions, reviewing timesheets, equipment charges, and construction order requirements to facilitate prompt payments.
* Verifying accuracy by auditing work order materials, labor, and equipment to ensure actual field construction matches vendor's invoiced amounts.
* Communicating with external stakeholders regarding rejected invoices.
* Monitoring and tracking the status of post-audit corrections to ensure accurate and timely payment.
* Independently resolving invoice issues.

What We're Looking For:

* Required: A High School Diploma or GED along with a minimum of two (2) years of related work experience.
* Preferred: A Bachelor's degree in business, accounting, or another business-related field, and three years of related experience.
* Strong computer skills and the ability to learn new systems quickly.
* Flexibility and dependability in your work schedule.
* Excellent prioritization skills to manage your workload effectively.

Schedule & Location:

This is a 40-hour per week position, Monday through Friday, with core hours of 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM (some flexibility with start/end times).

This is a hybrid role, requiring three days onsite each week and two days working remotely from home (a client-provided laptop will be supplied).

Please note: Reliable personal transportation is required as you may need to commute to other local offices.
