Opportunity
Our Corporate Tax Team is growing rapidly. We are seeking experienced tax professionals with 6‐10 years of professional services or industry experience to join as Senior Tax Managers. This role will be headquartered in Sydney and Parramatta, with flexible hybrid arrangements available.
Your Key Responsibilities
* Collaborate with the leadership team to coordinate and manage the provision of taxation services for an allocated book of corporate clients, overseeing day‐to‐day operations, corporate income tax compliance, and the preparation and review of income tax returns and accounting calculations.
* Deliver a full spectrum of corporate taxation advisory and compliance services tailored to client needs, while supporting senior team members in complex tax engagements, including ATO risk reviews, audits, and ruling application processes.
* Lead and mentor the team—including managers, senior consultants, consultants, and graduates—by acting as a counsellor for junior members, fostering their career development and contributing to a positive team culture that promotes high performance, collaboration, and celebrates successes.
Skills and Attributes for Success
* Detailed knowledge and experience of the Australian taxation system, acquired through work in a professional services firm or a comparable industry role.
* Expertise in corporate income tax compliance calculations, processes, and ATO lodgement obligations.
* Strong communication skills and confidence in leading direct engagements with clients on substantive tax matters and coordinating various engagements, ensuring clarity and effectiveness in all interactions.
* CA qualification, or equivalent, or completion of postgraduate studies such as a Tax Master's. Technical knowledge of IFRS and tax accounting is an advantage, but not essential.
