Project Overview
Bechtel is seeking to work with a major project to provide design and construction services for a mega infrastructure project.
This position will start as an assignment in our proposal team and eventually transition to the job site for the execution of the project.
Job Summary
As a Project Risk Management professional at Bechtel, you will provide expert execution capabilities of project risk management activities.
You will provide oversight, training and mentoring of project risk specialists and risk analysts toward project and corporate objectives.
You will collate risk intelligence and associated best practices to distribute throughout the Bechtel enterprise.
This position is designated as part-time telework and may require at least three days of in-person attendance per week at the assigned office or project.
Major Responsibilities
Embed and implement project risk management (PRM) program across the project.
Review, collect and perform all risk activities necessary to ensure alignment with the risk management plan.
Facilitate regular risk meetings, sessions, and workshops across the project.
Maintain accuracy and currency of risk information within risk tools/systems.
Review, develop, and maintain comprehensive risk and opportunity registers.
Establish and maintain robust risk reporting and communication mechanisms.
Implement staff training and engagement strategies to enhance risk awareness and foster a strong risk and opportunity management culture throughout the organization.
Participate in project reviews and senior management reporting, ensuring the integration of activities across multiple major project operations for cohesive and effective outcomes.
Education and Experience Requirements
Requires a bachelor's degree (or international equivalent) and 8–10 years of relevant experience, or ***** years of relevant work experience.
Required Knowledge and Skills
Excellent communication skills with ability to lead a multinational, multi-dimensional organization.
Experience with the holistic approach of risk management at portfolio and/or program level.
Proficiency with industry-standard software for risk management/analysis programs such as SAFRAN and ARM.
