To be successful in this role, you must have:
* A Certificate III or IV in Disability/Aged Care, which demonstrates your understanding of the industry's standards and best practices.
* NDIS Worker Screening, ensuring you are qualified to work with vulnerable individuals.
* A Working With Children Check (or be willing to obtain), highlighting your commitment to safeguarding children and young people.
* Proof of working rights, verifying your eligibility to work in Australia.
* A valid West Australian driver's license, enabling you to transport clients safely.
* A reliable vehicle with comprehensive car insurance, guaranteeing the safety of both clients and staff during travel.
* First Aid and CPR qualifications (or be willing to obtain), demonstrating your ability to respond effectively in emergency situations.
* National Police Clearance, showcasing your trustworthiness and integrity.
* Manual Handling Certificate, highlighting your understanding of safe lifting techniques and strategies.
* Medication competency certificate, ensuring you can administer medications safely and correctly.
