Product Support Advisor – Mackay | Queensland


About The Opportunity

Engage with various tiers within the customer organization to enhance the functionality and reliability of equipment while being conscious of costs. As a representative of Sandvik, you will facilitate communication between Sandvik and the customer to deliver exceptional customer service and support. You will also collaborate with the customer's Maintenance Management Team to improve the performance of Sandvik's equipment.

Roster options available: 4 days on/3 days off or 5 days on/2 days off.


Responsibilities

* Manage service support to accomplish business goals and objectives.
* Handle daily requirements and engage relevant departments to provide high-level customer service satisfaction.
* Develop direct customer relationships.
* Enhance existing site service by contributing to strategic plans for expansion.
* Facilitate coaching and mentoring of site technical staff.
* Assist in root cause failure analysis.
* Act as first-line support for helpdesk issues & technical support in the sales area.
* Identify and support continuous improvement initiatives.
* Manage bulletin administration and support.
* Assist the planning department in optimizing the maintenance strategy development.
* Collect technical feedback and provide it to Product Masters/EQ Division product line.


About You

* Heavy Duty Mechanical trade qualification as a minimum requirement.
* Current driver's license with the ability to work away from home on a FIFO roster.
* Knowledge and experience with Sandvik equipment, including training and experience with maintenance and fault finding.
* High level of initiative, drive and determination to achieve customer satisfaction goals and targets.
* Computer systems literacy is essential.
* Understanding of mine health and safety regulations.
