The Opportunity
We are seeking a
Junior Business Services Accountant
to become a key player in our energetic team. This is a fantastic opportunity to develop your technical knowledge and client skills with direct mentorship from experienced Accountants, working on an established client base.
Key Responsibilities:
You'll be instrumental in delivering essential compliance and advisory services, including:
Accounting & Tax Compliance:
* Preparation of Tax Returns: Personal, Business, and Corporate
* Business Activity Statements: GST, PAYGW, STP, TPAR, CGT, FBT
* Estate Planning, ATO Registrations and Correspondence
SMSF:
* Establishment of SMSF, Annual Financial Reports & Tax L/ments
* Monitor Contributions, Pensions & Rollovers
* Members & Deed Updates
Management & Advisory:
* Bookkeeping & Payroll, Financial Reporting
* Business Structure & New Entity Set-up
* ASIC Registrations and Correspondence etc.
What You Bring:
* A tertiary qualification in
Accounting
or Commerce.
* Some experience (2-3 years preferred) in an Australian public practice.
* Strong attention to detail and excellent communication skills.
* Proficiency with and experience with accounting software (Xero, MYOB).
* A genuine desire to commence or continue your
CA/CPA studies
.
