Based at our dynamic Laverton North facility, we are looking for an experienced Car Buyer with a vehicle wholesale background—skilled in sourcing suitable cars directly from multiple channels. You will play a key role collaborating with our sourcing team to bring the best vehicles to our customers.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Source vehicles for acquisition through channels such as auctions, private sellers, and dealerships.
2. Analyze market trends and pricing to identify profitable purchase opportunities.
3. Negotiate pricing and terms with sellers to optimize margins and reduce risk.
4. Perform comprehensive inspections to ensure vehicles meet quality and condition standards.
5. Manage transportation and logistics for prompt delivery to the dealership.
6. Maintain detailed records of all purchases, including costs, seller details, and vehicle histories.
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Experience in vehicle purchasing, used car sales, or related automotive roles.
- Strong knowledge of makes, models, and current market dynamics.
- Excellent negotiation and interpersonal skills.
- High attention to detail in evaluating vehicle condition and value.
- Valid driver's license.
