Legal and Client Support Officer - Clerk Grade 3/4 - Temporary & Talent Pool - NSW Statewide

Location: NSW, AU

* Temporary Full-Time and Talent Pool recruitment
* Clerk Grade 3/4 (salary range $82,193 - $90,001 plus super and annual leave loading)
* NSW Statewide - Sydney metropolitan & Sydney regional Legal Aid offices

About us

Legal Aid NSW helps people with their legal problems in areas such as criminal law, family law, and civil law. We provide legal advice, court assistance, and family dispute resolution.

About the role

The Legal and Client Support Officer role is a valuable addition to our administration division. You will be the first point of contact for clients with complex legal and non-legal issues, providing appropriate information and organizing support or services. The role includes clerical and legal administrative support to our legal teams to deliver the best outcomes for our clients.

This recruitment will create a talent pool for similar ongoing or temporary vacancies (full-time or part-time) over the next 18 months.

About you

You are a committed, client-focused team member who delivers consistent quality services in a high-volume environment. Your high-level communication skills support interactions with clients and legal staff through reception, phone, and legal administrative functions.

The essential requirements for this role

You must:

* Be willing to undergo a Criminal Record Check
* Hold Australian or NZ citizenship, Australian Permanent Residency, or a valid visa to work in Australia.
