Financial Expertise
This role offers the chance to develop expertise in mining finance while working with a range of financial activities.
* Support commercial tender cost evaluations and assist with contract negotiations.
* Monitor OPEX and CAPEX, undertake variance analysis, and identify cost-saving opportunities.
* Assist senior management with monthly financial reporting and stakeholder updates.
* Contribute to budgeting processes and rolling forecasts for business departments.
* Collect and consolidate financial data from multiple systems.
* Use SQL databases and data-tracking systems to support analysis and reporting.
* Maintain and reconcile General Ledger and sub-ledger accounts.
* Support month-end close activities, including journal uploads and system settlements.
* Assist with financial reporting, audit documentation, and CAPEX system maintenance.
* Undertake additional tasks that add value to the team.
