Business Development Professional Sought to Expand and Maintain Network

We are seeking a highly motivated professional to expand and maintain our Australia-wide network of finance and mortgage brokers.

In this role, you will be responsible for leveraging your existing broker database while continuing to grow and nurture new relationships.

The ability to build trust and deliver tailored private funding solutions will be key to your success.

This position requires regular interstate travel to attend networking events, industry briefings, and one-on-one meetings.


Key Responsibilities:

* Develop and implement a strategic sales strategy to grow a referral-producing broker network by identifying opportunities.
* Utilise your existing database to connect with a nationwide broker network.
* Seek, establish, and cultivate new broker partnerships.
* Ensure activities are effectively executed to fully capitalise on all available opportunities.
* Analyse competitor market trends to ensure a strong understanding of current market conditions and identify potential gaps.
* Quote and provide estimated loan summaries to prospective clients.
* Communicate effectively and promote relevant services and products to ensure maximum market uptake.
* Be a subject matter expert in the industry.


Required Skills and Qualifications:

* Proven experience in a business development/sales executive role with a business or finance background highly desirable.
* Ability to build lasting relationships while representing and promoting the brand.
* A business or finance diploma/degree is highly regarded.
* A proactive mindset with a natural ability to close deals.
* Outstanding relationship building, communication, and influencing skills.
* The ability to identify opportunities and drive execution excellence.
* Strong organisational skills with excellent follow-up and reporting skills.
* Possess a strong numerical aptitude with the ability to analyse and interpret data effectively.
* Experience working with a CRM and strong MS Office skills (HubSpot desirable).
* A strong drive to improve, excel, and achieve success.
