Job Title: Strategic First Nations Partnerships Architect.
The role is responsible for fostering partnerships with local Elders and community leaders to advance reconciliation through the City's Reconciliation Action Plan. This involves mentoring the First Nations Community Development Officer and ensuring that First Nations perspectives are embedded across projects and services. The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of Indigenous cultural protocols, excellent communication skills, and experience in building relationships within Indigenous communities.
This role requires someone who can work collaboratively with stakeholders at all levels to achieve mutually beneficial outcomes. Strong negotiation skills, ability to manage competing priorities, and capacity to provide high-quality written reports will be essential attributes for success in this position.
