Solution Architect – Informatica Canberra
Location: Canberra, Australian Capital Territory, Australia. This role focuses on the ANZ Public Sector.
As a Solution Architect, you will engage with internal collaborators, customers, and partners to develop technical account plans, design complex solutions on Informatica Data Management Cloud, and drive sales engagements to technical closure. You will educate stakeholders, mentor teammates, and contribute to shared technical selling assets.
Key Responsibilities
* Manage customer engagements independently.
* Perform all activities leading up to delivery of a customer demo, including discovery, technical qualification, presentations, demos and related communication.
* Lead RFP responses and POCs in Data Governance.
* Partner with Customer Success for workshops, adoption activities, and technical advisory.
* Act as conduit to Product Management for customer feedback.
* Conduct technical workshops with minimal assistance.
* Customize and present demos with minimal assistance.
* Support demos at marketing events independently.
* Share best practices, content, and tips.
* Stay current on Informatica service certifications.
Qualifications
* 4+ years of experience in data management, MDM, or Data Governance.
* 5+ years of prior presales/technical sales, industry, or consulting experience.
* BA/BS or equivalent educational background preferred.
* Hands‑on knowledge of Master Data Management and Data Governance; background in Data Management.
* Basic certification in at least one Cloud ecosystem and one data‑related cloud technology.
* Intermediate knowledge of cloud security.
* Advanced skills in Informatica services and product capabilities.
* Strong storytelling, presentation, and written communication skills.
* Ability to engage and build relationships with C‑level executives and other stakeholders.
* Intermediate technical knowledge of hybrid deployment, data warehousing, and BI concepts.
