Job Title: House Supervisor – Supported Independent Living (SIL)
Location: Geelong / VIC
Employment Type: Part-time with a flexible roster including sleepovers and weekends
About the Role:
Be the energy and support, on the floor. As a House Supervisor, you'll lead by example, delivering hands-on, person-centred care while mentoring and guiding a dedicated team. One day you're supporting participants directly; the next, you're managing rosters, staff performance, and on-the-spot decisions to ensure smooth residential operations.
What You'll Do:
• Provide daily support alongside your team, fostering independence and wellbeing
• Lead, mentor, and develop support workers on-site
• Manage rostering, inductions, performance support, and documentation
• Respond to gaps and ensure positive outcomes for participants
What We're Looking For:
• 1–2 years' leadership experience in residential disability, SIL, or aged care settings preferred
• Certificate IV or Diploma in Disability, Community Services, or Nursing experience desirable
• Strong person-centred, behaviour support, and advocacy skills
• Excellent communicator able to build trust with participants, families, and staff
• Resilient, hands-on leader with a proactive approach
Requirements & Checks:
• NDIS Worker Screening Check
• Working With Children Check
• First Aid & CPR certification
• Meet legal requirements to work in Australia
• Valid Victorian Driver's Licence, access to a vehicle, and minimum third party car insurance
