Role Overview
Bay Building Services is a market leader in insurance building repairs across Australia, with operations throughout VIC, NSW, QLD, SA & WA. For over 30 years, the company has specialized in repairs to domestic and commercial properties damaged through insurable events such as fire, storm, flood, impact and malicious damage.
This National Insurance Builder seeks an experienced Supervisor to manage a diverse portfolio of repair jobs primarily in the Gold Coast area.
Key Responsibilities
* Manage multiple projects varying in scale and complexity.
* Forecast monthly revenue according to project completion dates.
* Prepare schedules for efficient job delivery.
* Evaluate quality assurance processes.
* Maintain adherence to WH&S standards.
* Liaise with clients to ensure successful job outcomes.
* Work with the Procurement team to onboard and manage subcontractors and suppliers.
Requirements
To succeed in this role, you will need:
* Solid construction supervision experience in medium to large domestic and commercial construction repairs.
* Proven skills in construction estimating for building repairs to both domestic and commercial properties.
* Experience working directly with clients, building consultants, and all construction-related trades and suppliers.
* Able to deal with multiple projects simultaneously with conflicting priorities.
* Strong verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills.
* A thorough understanding of the construction process, critical inspection points, permit and WHS requirements.
* Understanding of relevant Building codes and Australian standards.
