* Clerk Grade 11/12 offering salary range relevant to experience from $149,739 - $173,174 + super




The skilled artisans at Heritage Stoneworks handcraft sandstone blocks for use in the maintenance of our state’s most impressive historic buildings. Their work will also encompass the installation of these blocks on site, and all associated craft skills. It ensures that more than 800 heritage-significant sandstone buildings across NSW remain culturally significant and operational such as schools, hospitals and courthouses.

The role

Our Business Operations Manager is responsible for the day-to-day operations of Heritage Stoneworks by overseeing core business functions such as procurement, facilities, maintenance, quality control, and project management systems. Responsibilities include delivering key initiatives, compliance projects and ensuring effective management of the organisational budget and expenditures.



You will lead, engage, motivate and manage the Business Services team to deliver facilities, maintenance, IT infrastructure, procurement, and operational systems, and ensure high-quality, cost-effective, and sustainable outcomes to enhance service delivery and promote compliant business infrastructure

You will bring knowledge and experience in procurement systems and process, experience in Facilities Maintenance or similar and understanding of the risk of Silicosis and safe working processes in relation to dust mitigation.



Essential requirement for this role include relevant tertiary qualifications and relevant industry experience in one or more of the following fields: accounting/finance, procurement, business administration, human resources, government management or related discipline as well as:

* Current Driver Licence and a willingness and ability to drive to different sites or locations may be required.
* Contract management and framework training, GC21, MW21 or equivalent
* ISO Integrated Management System qualifications
