We require an experienced Behaviour Support Practitioner who has a strong commitment to delivering evidence-based, functional behavioural outcomes.

Our Positive Behaviour Support Model encompasses the multidisciplinary expertise of Behaviour Support Practitioners, Occupational Therapists and Speech Pathologists to understand the drivers of behaviours from a communication, sensory and environmental perspective.
Responsibilities
 * Support our clients (NDIS participants), along with their families and/or carers, to identify their needs through assessment and person-centred planning
 * Identify meaningful goals and practical strategies utilising The Positive Behaviour Support Capability Framework, with a commitment to eliminate restrictive practices, in the home and community
 * Develop, deliver and evaluate evidence-based support plans within a complex support space
 * Ensure individual plans reflect our clients' goals, passions and strengths
 * Build the knowledge, capacity and strengths of those who support our clients - family, carers, friends, etc

About You
 * Current suitability (i.e. registration) with the NDIS Commission as a Behaviour Support Practitioner is essential
 * Demonstrated ability to work positively in a multidisciplinary team
 * Outstanding communication, influencing and interpersonal skills
 * Confident computer skills
 * Flawless writing skills
 * Current Drivers Licence and own reliable vehicle
Qualifications
 * Degree level qualifications of relevance to providing supports to people with behaviours of concern are highly preferred
