About the opportunity
The University of Sydney Business School is committed to the Principles for Responsible Management Education (PRME), an initiative of the UN Global Compact, to raise the profile of sustainability in business and management education. As part of this commitment, we're seeking a Senior Project Officer to support the School's strategic goal of embedding PRME across teaching, research, operations and engagement.
This is an exciting opportunity to lead complex projects, drive impact, and support initiatives that position the Business School as a leader in responsible management education.
Your key responsibilities will be to:
* manage the implementation of the Business School's PRME project and related work streams
* provide expert project management support, including tracking timelines, deliverables and budgets
* coordinate governance, reporting, and risk management activities to ensure project success
* support PRME-related communications, events, industry engagement and student outreach
* provide secretariat support to PRME committees and contribute to global reporting requirements
* oversee curriculum mapping to the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and develop progress reports.
About you
* significant experience managing complex projects with diverse stakeholder groups
* strong understanding of project governance, reporting, and compliance processes
* demonstrated ability to manage budgets and provide financial reporting
* experience in stakeholder engagement, communications and/or event coordination
* familiarity with the UN PRME framework or sustainability in higher education is desirable
* tertiary qualifications in a relevant discipline or equivalent professional experience.
