About the Role:

Applications are sought from suitable Health Professionals to expand their career working in the beautiful newly built Cancer and Wellness Centre at Echuca Regional Health.

The role of the Wellness Centre Program Coordinator is to plan, implement and coordinate Wellbeing programs from the Cancer and Wellness Centre for the relevant cohort of patients, carers and community attending ERH Cancer and Wellness Centre.

Key responsibilities include:

* Develop and manage wellness programs in collaboration with the Cancer and Wellness Centre Manager, including services led by health professionals, contractors and volunteers
* Coordinate daily operations, including scheduling, bookings, promotion and ensuring equipment and resources are ready
* Facilitate programs and maintain systems, including support groups and the online booking platform
* Engage volunteers and stakeholders, support fundraising efforts, attend planning meetings and maintain the cancer resource library
* Ensure compliance and access, keeping policies current, assisting with credentialing and managing referrals for timely care
* Actively participate in mandatory meetings as required and requested
* Maintain core clinical competence specific to the area of clinical practice

Qualifications/experience required:

* Relevant Tertiary Qualification in Nursing, Allied Health and/ or a related health field
* Current AHPRA Registration and/ or eligibility for registration with the appropriate Allied Health professional body
* Strong customer service focus with a demonstrated ability to deliver a positive experience
* Exceptional communication skills, including negotiation, interpersonal abilities and the capacity to prepare clear oral and written reports
