Terra Verde is a joint venture between Webuild, GS Engineering & Construction (E&C) Australia, and Bouygues Construction Australia. The joint venture combines experienced local personnel with global resources and expertise.
Terra Verde is delivering nearly 10 kilometres of parallel tunnels between Glen Waverley and Box Hill, including 39 cross passages and two station boxes at Glen Waverley and Burwood in Melbourne's eastern suburbs, as part of the Suburban Rail Loop Project. This is the largest infrastructure project in Victoria's history, shaping Melbourne and Victoria for future generations.
About the Role
This role is focused on leading and coordinating audits across all aspects of our project, ensuring compliance with project-specific management plans, construction standards, and regulatory requirements, while identifying improvement opportunities and driving corrective actions to support successful project delivery.
Key Responsibilities
* Prepare and maintain the integrated Project audit schedule and ensure compliance through regular audits
* Identify audit scope, objectives and criteria based on project specifications and standards
* Lead internal audits across construction sites, subcontractors and suppliers
Conduct compliance audits against project Management Plans
* Prepare detailed audit reports highlighting findings, non-conformances and opportunities for improvement
* Ensure corrective and preventive actions are implemented and verified within agreed timeframes
* Monitor trends in audit findings and recommend systemic improvements
What We're Looking For
* Proven ability to plan and manage project audit schedules
* Strong understanding of project standards and audit criteria
* Experience leading audits across construction sites and suppliers
* Solid knowledge of compliance requirements and management plans
* Skilled in writing clear, detailed audit reports
* Demonstrated follow-through on corrective and preventive actions
* Analytical mindset with ability to identify trends and drive improvement
Qualifications and Experience
* ISO Lead Auditor certification
Minimum 5 years' experience in auditing within construction or infrastructure projects
Strong knowledge of Australian WHS legislation, environmental regulations, and quality standards
Skills and Attributes
* Excellent communication and report-writing skills
* Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
* Ability to manage multiple audits and deadlines
* High attention to detail and integrity
