Medical Education Officer Job Description
The Postgraduate Medical Education Unit manages the development, implementation and evaluation of training and professional development of junior medical staff.
Our team is committed to providing excellent quality education and support to junior medical staff, ensuring all educational activities align with best practice initiatives and organisational priorities.
As a Medical Education Officer, you will provide high-level medical education support to the Postgraduate Medical Education Unit, facilitating the continuing education of medical staff. You will assist the Learning and Development Manager and liaise with and support the Director of Prevocational Medical Education, Director of Clinical Training and Supervisor of Intern Training.
Key responsibilities include:
* Maintaining accreditation standards
* Continuously improving education and training for junior medical staff
* Working closely with staff within Medical Education, Medical Workforce and Medical Services
The ideal candidate will have proven experience in administrative, educational or event coordination roles, strong organisational skills, excellent interpersonal and written communication abilities, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
