About the role
This is an opportunity for an experienced Project Officer to support the delivery of a high-profile digital platform that brings together complex data to inform workforce, education and industry decision-making. You’ll play a key role in coordinating agile delivery activities, supporting stakeholders, and ensuring high-quality reporting and operational support across the product lifecycle.
Your duties will include:
* Monitoring and triaging a shared team mailbox, responding to stakeholder enquiries professionally and promptly
* Providing end-to-end project coordination support within an agile product team
* Supporting sprint planning, backlog refinement and scrum board updates using tools such as Azure DevOps or Jira
* Maintaining project documentation including roadmaps, delivery schedules and budget tracking
* Assisting with user research activities, product testing and release coordination
* Preparing and maintaining agile artefacts such as user stories, acceptance criteria and status reports
Skills and Experience we are looking for:
* Demonstrated experience supporting digital or agile projects, ideally in government or complex environments
* Strong working knowledge of agile methodologies and sprint-based delivery
* Experience using collaboration and project tools such as MS Teams, SharePoint, Azure DevOps or Jira
* Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a dynamic environment
* High-level written and verbal communication skills with the ability to tailor messaging for different audiences
* Strong attention to detail, organisation skills and problem-solving capability
