The Role:
The
Weddings & Celebrations Sales Manager
is central to growing our business while creating memorable, personalised experiences for couples. This role balances a commercial focus with the privilege of guiding couples through one of life's most important milestones, ensuring every celebration is delivered with care and excellence
This position is based out of our Pyrmont offices and Sylvania Waters venue.
Your responsibilities:
* This role combines commercial focus and delivering exceptional experiences
* Conduct detailed consultations with couples to understand their vision, preferences, and requirements, translating these into tailored events
* Host venue viewings and provide expert guidance, ensuring prospective clients feel inspired and supported in their decision making.
* Prepare customised proposals and packages, manage negotiations with care, and secure bookings in line with business objectives.
* Deliver outstanding service and support throughout the sales journey, fostering trust and lasting relationships with each couple.
* Represent our venues at our inhouse wedding showcase events, engaging with prospective clients and highlighting the excellence of our spaces and service.
Your attributes:
* Proven experience as a Sales Manager within the wedding or events industry, with a strong track record of conversion and revenue growth.
* Proactive and solutions focused, with the ability to adapt seamlessly to different client needs and cultural expectations
* A relentless commitment to quality outcomes that exceed client expectations and reflect the prestige of our venues.
* Collaborative by nature, with the ability to build productive relationships across clients, colleagues, and stakeholders.
* Strong communication skills with the presence to influence, inspire, and instil confidence in every interaction.
* Genuine passion for creating exceptional client experiences, ensuring each couple feels valued and supported throughout their journey.
Your experience:
* Minimum of 2 years experience in the wedding or events industry, demonstrating a genuine passion for creating exceptional events
* Proven success in sales, specifically within weddings, with a track record of converting enquiries into confirmed bookings.
* Highly organised, with excellent attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple events at different stages simultaneously.
* Demonstrated ability to achieve and exceed sales targets while maintaining a client focused, personalised approach
