Mental Health Clinician Role
Our organization seeks a skilled Mental Health Clinician to collaborate with our team in delivering high-quality patient care. This role involves working together to increase service capacity and addressing the acute needs of consumers 18 years and older who are experiencing a mental health crisis.
* Key responsibilities include providing specialist mental health interventions within a multidisciplinary team, involving triage, assertive outreach, comprehensive assessment, risk assessment, clinical formulation, management of risks and safety planning.
* Care is provided utilizing principles of Trauma Informed Care and Recovery, as well as adherence to National Practice Standards for Mental Health Workforce and NSW Health Mental Health Competencies.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
Specialist knowledge and skills in mental health interventions, ability to work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team, strong communication and interpersonal skills.
